The Idaho unemployment rate has reached its highest level in more than 20 years. According to figures from The Idaho Department of Labor, the state lost more than 12,000 jobs in December with one out of every 15 workers in the state looking for work last month.
The report shows the state's unemployment rate has increased from 5.7 percent in November to 6.6 percent in December.
More than 50,000 workers in Idaho are without jobs, said local Boise TV station KVTB.
