Boeing Defense, Space & Security is looking for an early career Supply Chain Specialist to provide Asset Manager type of support for their Air Force C-17 Program.
Coordinates Asset management in support of the Air Force C-17 Program.
Maintain accurate inventory control of assets and monitor customer requirements.
Analyzes data to determine inventory requirements, maintenance, repair and/or corrective action. Investigate repair, rework or configuration management for optional solutions to support emergent supply chain requirements.
Works under general direction.
Assists in analyzing post production supply chain data to define reorder points and quantities.
Enters, tracks, monitors and coordinates customer material and delivery requirements and customer orders.
Processes material returned from customers.
Assists in the analysis of supplier and/or customer data regarding products or services to include repair capabilities,
capacity and performance.
Processes documentation associated with repair items and warranty claims.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a US Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. US Person includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Applicant should also have specialized knowledge of company products and services; experience working directly with customer representatives; and additional business, communications, and leadership training.
Bachelor's degree and typically 3 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Prefer experience in the application of supply chain management to effectively manage items with frequent demand and customer changes.

Prefer candidate be familiar with Department of Defense (DOD) and Air Force supply/logistics systems.
