Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly qualified Associate Manager, Business Support with experience in Sales application management to join our Sales Infrastructure department in Richmond, VA. The selected candidate will play a key role in the design, development, testing and support of applications used by our operating companies, field sales force and trade partners.

Specific accountabilities include:

• Gathering and documenting system business requirements for AGDC sales systems, including integration with relevant Brand, Merchandising, Field Sales Force and Trade Partner end users.

• Designing web-based and mobile applications in support of AGDC business processes executed by AGDC HQ employees, Field Sales Force employees and AGDC’s Retail and Wholesale Trade Partners.

• Delivering and tracking progress for AGDC IT projects, overseeing the work of internal IT support resources as well as IT vendors across a suite of AGDC applications.

• Coordinating application testing activities for new implementations and lifecycle changes for existing applications.

• Providing end-user support for business issues encountered by users interacting with the AGDC suite of applications.

• Developing communication and training plans for system releases and enhancements to AGDC HQ, Field Sales and Trade Partner users.

Specific Skills

Qualifications include:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Market Information, Marketing or Business Management is preferred.

• 5 years of relevant professional experience supporting Sales applications, including application development project management experience.

• Strong analytic, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

• Experience with multiple database technologies and data analysis tools.

• Experience with web and mobile application design principles and processes.

• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across functions and with most senior levels of the organization.

• The ability to lead and inspire others with engaging written, oral and presentation skills, including clear communication of technical concepts to a non-technical business audience.
