Associate - Payroll Operations - Garnishments','215541','!*!GENERAL SUMMARY:  Accurately process garnishments for U.S. and Canada employees within designated service level agreements. Provide correspondence to attorneys, courts and employees as designated by order request. Set up new agency/vendor information for payment of garnishments. Support other areas of Payroll Operations including Corporate and Store/Distribution Center functions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:• Process and respond to all garnishment requests received by Gap Inc. accurately and completely, and within designated service level agreements• Respond to requests for garnishment related information utilizing department approved communication standards• Execute departmental controls to ensure accuracy of data and payments; review and approve transactions identified on audit reporting • Meet established department performance standards; demonstrate exceptional customer service to meet/exceed Company designated goals and Service Level Agreements• Adhere to department policies, controls and procedures such as confidentiality, data privacy, and proper handling of personally identifiable information (PII)• Utilize measurements and reporting to identify and recommend opportunities for continuous improvement• Respond to requests for information from business partners; maintain confidentiality by following department security protocols• Complete projects as assigned by leadership• Act as the backup for others on the Payroll Operations team providing coverage when absences occur• Assist in training of team members and documenting desktop procedures• Act with integrity, respect and professionalism when interacting with team members and business partners• Contribute to the department's health and success beyond daily roles and responsibilities through participation in choice of an action team or manager-approved individual contribution ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:  This position reports to, and receives direction from the Employee Services Supervisor and Manager.  Regular interaction occurs with Employee Services team members across the department. Internal customers include, but are not limited to, Store, Distribution Center, and Headquarters’ employees.
