& Position Overview:

The Global Finance Operations Organization is responsible for managing Quoting,

Contracting, Order Management, and Compensation services at Oracle. We provide

high quality and effective service to ensure that revenue to Oracle is

maximized while protecting our legal and commercial interests.

The Cloud Subscription Quality and Operations Support Organization supports

multiple functions within the Global Finance Operations Organization including

issues delaying the provisioning of customer environments, the quality of

customer contract and subscription data, as well as issues impacting our

ability to successfully and correctly invoice our customers. In addition to the

above areas we currently support we are also expanding support into the investigation

and remediation of complex issues that occur across the entire Cloud

transaction flow that may relate to systems, process, or knowledge gaps.

This position will be

focused on supporting a new initiative called Cloud Transactional Monitoring

which will be focused on the following areas:

Performing analysis to identify transactions with a

high propensity for failure as they progress through our Cloud

transactional frameworkEstablishing segregation processes to successfully

route these potentially problematic transactions through a separate

workflow with Cloud experts on standby to anticipate and/or resolve issues

before they progress into downstream systems or impact our customersDriving improvements to Cloud systems, processes, and

knowledge to prevent future occurrence of issues and allow transactions to

progress through mainstream workflows.

This will require individuals who are

diligent and motivated towards developing a deep understanding of Oracle’s

Cloud business and able to perform crucial root cause analysis to identify our

core issues and to work with the appropriate stakeholders to drive improvements

accordingly. Additionally, individuals will also be required to provide

tactical support in the form of providing direction or leading resolution activity

for our most complex transactional issues.

Responsibilities

include the following:

Collaboration with key stakeholders involved in our end

to end transactional flow to resolve complex issues impacting our

customersPerform root cause analysis to identify the drivers for

various issuesTranslate root cause drivers into proposals to drive

improvements or changes to systems, processes, and people/knowledge that

have been prioritized based on impact to the customer and OracleCoordinate with Global Process Owners, functional

experts, stakeholders, and development teams to ensure the delivery of

solutions to eliminate future occurrence of issuesDefine and document processes and/or best practices Track and report on enhancement requests and

development efforts to provide visibility to senior management on timeline

for expected changes/improvementsCapture quality data to communicate the need for

improvements or enhancements to processes or systemsDrive improvements to knowledge through documentation

efforts and training of front-line resources within the Collections and

Accounts Receivable organizationsResponsible for ensuring that issues are resolved in a

timely manner in accordance with established service level agreements

(SLAs)Support efforts to track metrics and key performance

indicators

Requirements:

Strong communications skills (oral and written)Possess organizational and effective prioritization

of 3 years of experience in IT Industry, preferably in a cloud,

reporting, analytical, or operational role

','!*!Responsible for the delivery of Product Specifications Documents to supplier partner(s) or delivery of process specifications to meet business specifications. May be done in partnership with business partner(s) or via guidance to business partner(s) for execution. Defines system specifications needed to roll out flexible business models. Responsible for understanding business objectives. Performs process or functional analysis to identify gaps compared to specifications, confers and/or drives issues with management for resolution, and ensures overall fulfillment of business specifications. Responsible for day-to-day engagement with business and/or process subject matter experts. Advises and consults with business teams prioritizing allocation of people resources, addressing project team problems ensuring that all team deliverables are met, and developing and presenting proposals of project plan and getting agreement from appropriate stakeholders. Understands and applies theories to policies and operating environment needed to effectively and efficiently complete assignments. Duties and tasks are standard with some variation.
