, formerly The Seniors Place, was established to care for older adults with mild to moderate memory loss. We offer our participants an individualized wellness program, with lots of socialization and interesting daily activities. Caregivers receive respite, support groups and family conferences which help the well-being of the whole family.
Our highly professional and well-trained staff cares deeply about the participants and families we serve. Our combined knowledge and expertise help us to develop and oversee an individualized and therapeutic care plan for each participant.
As the Culinary Assistant, you will assist with the operations of the Amazing Place Kitchen, dining room and staff breakroom, working under the guidance of the Culinary Director. You will primarily assist the Culinary Director, as needed.
Review daily menu for the Participants.
Deliver any “special” morning coffee/snacks, as needed (i.e. for support group, Board meetings, etc.)
Clean snack area/wash snack dishes.
Assist with lunch preparation.
Set up dining room with linens, silver and beverages.
Assist with lunch service in the kitchen.
Assist with the dessert service.
Do daily cleaning.
Sweep and mop kitchen floor.
Take trash to the dumpster
Take all dirty dishes from the Staff break room and wash downstairs. Return dishes to the Staff break room cabinets, when clean.
Clean out Staff Breakroom appliances, sink and counters daily.
Clean out Staff Breakroom refrigerator every Friday afternoon, as needed.
High school diploma or GED
Certificates, Licenses And Registrations Required
Must maintain current CPR, AED and initial EssentiALZ Certifications

Recognizes that the unpredictable nature of working with dementia patients could occasionally involve contributing more than your share of the work load to achieve a departmental or participant outcome.
