The Securities Information Center (SIC) maintains the Lost and Stolen Securities Program (LSSP) on behalf of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). SIC is looking for a candidate to join a small team of Client Service Representatives (CSR) responsible for assisting customers, via phone or email, with information pertaining to the LSSP and SIC. The CSR will be located in Boston, MA.Main Duties and Responsibilities * Answer phone calls from customers (banks, broker dealers, and transfer agents) related to SIC billing practices, existing contracts or new registration, regulatory inquiry and reporting requirements, and website assistance. * Utilize SIC\u2019s websites to assist customers with basic user account questions, unlocking user accounts, and general website navigation. * Ensure timely, accurate resolution for all client matters and thoroughly document each request and response in SIC\u2019s customer relationship management system. * Take on occasional research projects to identify and correct historical information. * Assist in day-to-day back office work including delivering reports to customers, reviewing information from overnight processing, and researching/applying industry changes to keep information up-to-date. * Collaborate with central Thomson Reuters Customer Care and Accounts Receivables teams to resolve issues for enterprise-wide clients or assist with the semi-annual collection process. * Review and understand quarterly changes affecting features of customer facing and internal websites used for day-to-day operations. * Understand options available to customers to improve reporting and/or inquiry workflow, initiate dialog on the options for high volume customers, and escalate accordingly. * Display positive interpersonal skills and collaborate with other SIC staff when resolving an issue.Thomson Reuters provides professionals with the intelligence, technology and human expertise they need to find trusted answers. Prioritization of work is required. * Ability to work as a member of a team and in a stand-alone environment. * It may be required to be fingerprinted and undergo a standard broker/dealer FBI background check.
