General Summary: Handle and respond to customer correspondence via email and/or phones. Additional focus on sales, answering product inquiries, and resolving customer complaints. CSR's help facilitate Shoe Metro's mission to provide our customer the best value footwear and accessories.
Shift: Tuesday to Saturday, 6:00 am-2:30 pm
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
*Resolve customers' service or product inquiries promptly and professionally by performing activities such as placing orders, processing refunds, and answering questions *Coordinate customer service needs with other departments as required ensuring excellent customer service *Recommend improvements in products, shipping, service, or billing methods and procedures to resolve current issues, and prevent future problems *Be familiar with progress of company policies, operations, and products *Receive/process orders; provide information on pricing, service changes, and shipping *Process proof of delivery or services, track customer orders, research missing/late deliveries *Contribute to company and department goals, and meet KPI's *Other duties as assigned
Required Skills and Competencies:
*Minimum of 1-2 years Customer Service Retail Support or Call Center related experience *E-Commerce experience, and online marketplace knowledge (e.g.eBay, Amazon, and PayPal) experience is a plus
*Exceptional communication skills in English - both verbal and written *Working knowledge of internet browsers, CRM Software, and Microsoft Office *Keyboard skills: 45 WPM *Ability to work in a task driven environment, handling competing demands and multi-tasking required. *Reliable and detail oriented *Excellent attendance and punctuality *Ability to maintain a courteous and professional manner at all times
*High School Diploma (or equivalent) is required; college degree preferred.
*This job is primarily sedentary work. Must be able to remain in a stationary position at least 90% of the time *Occasionally move about the office *Manual dexterity to constantly operate a computer and other office equipment *Constant close visual acuity to view a computer screen *Constant communication to exchange accurate information
