Fairbanks Morse Engine
Acts as a liaison between the Company, its customers and sales representatives in matters concerning delivery, quotations, and order status and product information. Assists in the development of sales contacts and performs limited selling functions.
Prepares quotations, reviews and enters orders
Respond to general correspondence, and maintains adequate records of correspondence sent and received
Coordinates and cooperates with other departments (i.e. Engineering, Accounting, Materials, etc)
Supplies information to sales representatives concerning customer activities
May be required to travel 5% of the time.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee must be able to regularly sit; use hands to handle or feel equipment or generate/prepare reports, reach with hands and arms to install equipment, and talk or hear to communicate with internal and external customers as well as management and other fellow employees. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl in order to install and/or diagnose customer or company equipment and/or tooling. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 5 to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus in order to read product results and generate customer/management reporting as requirement as well as communication documentation as needed.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is sometimes exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Must posses the ability to read, interpret system reports and/or documents, safety procedures and guidelines, operating and maintenance instructions, and operating procedure manuals. Must be able to write and communicate to management routine reports and correspondence and articulate effectively and clearly before groups of customers or employees. Able to communicate in Spanish and English.
Must have the ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages, as well as a fundamental understanding of metrics and statistics.
Must possess the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists; and an ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Ideal candidate must be an expert with MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and Power Point
Must have a good working knowledge of ERP
Qualifications and Educational Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent, Bachelors Degree (B.A. OR B.S.) is preferred from an accredited College or University.
2 years experience in a related industry or manufacturing environment
Knowledge of MS Office applications
Bilingual is preferred
Possess good oral, written, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Ability to converse and handle tense situations with tact
