We are hiring a Digital Marketing Operations Manager
to join our Marketing team!
IN A NUTSHELL
Our Digital Marketing Operations Manager will help set and execute digital marketing platform and technology strategies and initiatives, to grow our internal digital capabilities across all platforms. In this role, you will also lead our Business Intelligence (BI) efforts by understanding the importance of data and analytics, KPI’s, and effective analysis. This position reports to directly to the Director of Digital Marketing and works with the broader marketing team, while providing direct leadership to assigned individuals within the digital marketing team.

Are you strategic?
You will have direct input in the creation and execution of the annual digital technology strategy, consulting and collaborating with the Marketing Leadership Team to support all Watkins Wellness digital marketing objectives.
Can you enhance the user experience
? You will be responsible for the timely and accurate posting of all digital content, testing and optimization of digital platforms to maximize UX by ensuring effective feature rich experiences and clean code. You’ll also lead the continuous monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs) to maximize return on investment and proactively identify course corrections; sharing your insights with and reporting on performance to the Marketing Leadership Team to facilitate optimization of all marketing strategies and plans.
Are you analytical
? You will help define the digital analytics road map, activation, and best practices supporting all our digital properties, overseeing key activities of marketing performance metric calculations, brand site analytics, and insights generated from external data sources. You’ll also determine analytics capabilities/needs and implementation plans, enable digital analytics reporting and dashboard creation, review and enhance established KPIs and develop tracking and reporting.
Can you build successful relationships
? You will partner with and manage agency relationships related to digital web hosting services, technology platforms, and outside development, in order to deliver exceptional results by maintaining daily management protocol, as well as, identifying and establishing new relationships and resources as required.
Are you an effective trainer
? You will develop and deliver training sessions to our channel partners through online webinars, presentations, as well as, in person at conferences, meetings, and other special events.
Can you manage a budget
? You will develop and manage expense budgets for digital marketing initiatives, collaborating with the Director of Digital Marketing and Brand Managers to assure spending is consistent with overall brand strategy.
Do you stay current
? You will keep ahead of digital marketing trends by investing in trainings, certifications, webinars, networking events etc., to ensure knowledge and understanding of the latest technologies.
WHAT YOU NEED
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a Technology-related field is preferred.
At least five (5) years’ digital/online marketing experience is required, preferably in a manufacturing environment with high-ticket durable goods. Experience working with ecommerce (B2B, B2C) is a plus.
Minimum 2 years’ experience of providing team leadership team and directly managing others is required. Experience managing outside agencies is strongly preferred.
Strong knowledge and understanding of: WordPress/Drupal Development and Experience, WP Engine – Hosting setup, configuration, and optimization; Amazon CDN, Form Development and API integration, Google Analytics or Omniture.
Familiarity with Workflow and Ticketing Software (FileMaker, Jira, Confluence, Basecamp, Slack), Search Engine Optimization (SEO) – MOZ, Google Analytics or Omniture, Marketing Automation and CRM platforms, Mobile User Experience is desired.
Must be proficient with MS Office applications and various content management systems (CMSs).
Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels within the organization as well as strong ability to work in a team environment, are required to be successful in this position.
Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% for channel partner visits, conferences, sales meetings, etc.
