Director, Product Management, Send - North America
In this role, the Director is responsible to define the Send product strategy for the NAM region in collaboration with Send use-case leads for P2P, Disbursements and Cross-Border and in alignment with other NAM teams working on new payments flows.
The Director is part of the Digital Payments and Labs team in the North America Region; and a significant contributor to MasterCards strategy to capture new payment flows, win in digital and support growth in core business.
-Monitor and assess competitive landscape for Send in NAM in order to define the overall product strategy. Leverage global learnings through our global product team. Act as expert and thought leader in the space for the market.
-Maintain strong contact with NAMs digital partnership and issuer accounts teams to gather customer feedback and insights, and drive discussions on how to be ahead of competition.
-In collaboration with the use-case leads, define the product strategy and go to market for NAM region, including overall competitive position, value proposition, target segments, commercialization approach, product features prioritization and pricing.
-Do product analytics for the NAM Send team including monitoring Send KPIs related to product performance and capabilities and P&L/budget, execute ad-hoc analyses to drive decision making and be the point of contact for reporting activities.
-Actively participate in initiatives and collaboration activities within Digital Payments and Labs, the North America Region and MasterCard.
All About you:
The ideal candidate has relevant management/strategy consulting experience combined with digital product development and management experience. Candidates could come from consulting firms, issuers and acquirers, money transfer operators, or payments innovators. Candidates should demonstrate not only conceptual ability but deep analytical strengths and business acumen. Candidates must also have the confidence, communication and influencing skills to present to senior audiences and to influence peers.
-Significant experience in consulting and payments.
-Strong problem solving and analytical skills. Capacity to drive decision making through fact-based analysis without compromising agility and speed to take action.
-Capacity to define hypothesis on competitors strategies based on public information and market feedback; and translate insights into initiatives to stay ahead.
-Strong business acumen, with the ability to identify potential product opportunities and quickly set up action plans to capture them.
-Product management experience, especially in digital products proven record of taking them from concept to launch.
-Strong ability to act as a team player and create trust relationships across the organization globally.
-Excellent communication skills. Ability to lead customer-facing conversations.
-Domestic travel might be required.
