This position will be located in Aurora, CO.

The qualified applicant will support Northrop Grumman Mission Systems Division Facilities, leading a staff in the management of 4 sites, (Aurora, Colorado Springs, Boulder, and Bellevue, NE).

Roles and Responsibilities:

Plans and manages facility operating budgets, cost pool, capital expenditures, and staffing for the region

Develops and implements strategic facility plans that leverages resources and achieves an efficient and cost effective operating model

Establishes and maintains service level agreements (equipment and services), manages and reports space utilization and identifies opportunities to leverage services and costs

Partners with the site senior management and business development leadership to plan and manage site requirements

Planning and execution of alterations including major capital projects, delivering on-time & under budget

Coordinates with contractors, engineering firms, internal groups to execute projects

Ensure minimal interruption to operations, with zero down time

Presents intelligent building modification options to management for consideration with recommendations including pros and cons of alternatives

Coordinates with staff on duties, responsibilities, projects, schedules and budgets, with recurring meetings

Prepares and presents status reports for management and site management

Facility appearance, infrastructure function, building equipment operation, site safety, EH&S andOSHA compliance and reporting

Ensures buildings and Equipment are maintained with a robust Preventive Maintenance program, utilize existing Work Order System, track tasking

Compliance with sector space utilization policies, collaboration with other regional managers and peers, supporting RE transaction management in the acquisition/disposition of space and provision of data to support sector/corporate metric development and space utilization

Business resumption and emergency preparedness

Building POC to Landlord

Travel required between sites

Basic Qualifications:

Ability to travel CONUS.

12 years minimum facilities experience (6-years of facility & staff management experience inclusive).

Must be able to acquire a TS Security clearance and maintain the clearance for continued employment.

Full knowledge working with MS Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Project

Preferred Qualifications:

Management of a team, goal setting, performance reviews, regional experience and managing a team remotely.

Knowledge of Facilities infrastructure, equipment, redundancy, electrical and mechanical systems, and basic code requirements.

Strong leadership qualities, communication and interpersonal skills exceptional writing, organization and planning experience.

Successful vendor and or landlord negotiations, facility consolidations, and relevant construction projects.

Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Technology, Construction Management, Engineering or Business.

6 years of Facilities Project Management experience and at least 5 years of experience in Construction Management.
