Position Summary:

Working across the digitial business organization and with functional stakeholders, the Global Website Portfolio Manager oversees Rockwell Automation's global website portfolio and leads the team that designs, develops and manages it. This leader is responsible for planning and managing website projects and development; overseeing content management; leading the career growth of the team members and applying best practices in operations, user experience and governance.

In addition, the Global Website Portfolio Manager will play a key role in the development, execution and measurement of Rockwell Automation's global digital customer experience strategy, including meeting core marketing and brand objectives, helping to drive best practices in SEO and analytics, increasing qualified lead acquisition, enhancing customer experience, and supporting mobile/end to end digital strategy.

The successful candidate must be creative, collaborative, common-sense driven, and posses an innate passion and curiosity for the digital space. The individual must be a self-starter with strong communication skills, and be able to multitask while leading a team focused on continuous improvement, execution and quality. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills are a must, with an ability to work with people at multiple levels inside and outside the company, and across multiple cultures and locations.

Essential Functions:

Manage the global website portfolio: Plan and lead design and development projects; establish and sustain governance for content, design and execution; ensure optimal user experience; play a key role in strategy and roadmap development.

Supervise the Global Website Portfolio Team (UX/UI design, development, content management): Delegate and manage work, provide leadership and foster collaboration, coach and develop skills, manage budget.

Guide and continuously improve the content management process and execution across the portfolio.

Collaborate with stakeholders and users across the globe to understand their requirements and support their local website and content publishing needs through enablement, process and goverance.

Implement and maintain SEO best practices.

Establish KPIs for the website portfolio, and measure/report performance on a quarterly basis.

Work with IT and external partners to drive continuous measured assessment and improvement of website infrastructure and environment (content management system/toolset, publishing, asset management).

Work with Marketing Operations to execute social media and digital demand generation campaigns, and support Marketing analytics strategy.

Communicate and collaborate with peers in Marketing and business stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and optimization of digital initiatives.

Keep current with digital trends and recommend/advocate innovative opportunities that benefit Rockwell Automation through attending tradeshows, marketing communites or professional affiliation group(s).

Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

7 years' experience managing a team in a Digital Marketing environment

Domestic and international travel may be required - typically ~10-15%.

Qualifications Preferred:

Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Communications or Information Technology

Experience working in a B2B/manufacturing organization.

Experience with global corporate website portfolio across multiple country websites and driven by an enterprise-class content management system is preferred.

Understanding of agile project management and lean execution methodologies. Ability to operate in this manner.

Demonstrated experience in applying technology, content and community to drive engagement/action.

Demonstrated expertise in applying best practices in digital design, content management process, usability, search engine optimization and analytics.

Deep understanding of the technical aspects of website management, including systems, technical project management and development approaches.

Excellent communication & leadership skills with ability to simplify/explain complex concepts in order to gain understanding from and influence professionals at all levels and across cultures.

Must thrive in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to organize, prioritize and successfully manage multiple projects with minimal supervision.

Excellent people and leadership skills that enable building productive, collaborative relationships with cross-functional team members, leaders, peers and agency/vendor partners.

Comfortable with coaching, professional development and critical conversations.

Strong knowledge of digital trends, and an innate passion for staying current with and continuous learning about the interactive space.

Prior people management experience, including virtual/co-located staff

Experience with OpenText Teamsite content management system

Experience with mobile/responsive design, modern apps and social media

Experience working with/executing automated language translation through websites
