High Speed Insert OperatorShift Information: Rotating 7:00 am- 7:00 pm Week One: Scheduled For 36 Hours (Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday) Week Two: Scheduled For 48 Hours (Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday) THIS SCHEDULE WILL REPEAT EVERY TWO WEEKS. YOU MUST BE AVAILABLETO WORK WEEKENDS.Business Description:Output Solutions provides turnkey business communications solutions for the financial services, healthcare, billing, retail, agency, travel and entertainment industries. This group specializes in the production of debit, credit, gift and pre-paid cards; membership and health identification cards; statements; invoices; explanation of benefits and tax forms. The business also provides document management, branded merchandise and direct marketing services, and offers Electronic Document Delivery solutions that allow clients to securely archive and deliver high-volume e-documents, including statements, bills and reports, to their customers.Responsibilities:Perform entry level machining and/or assembly tasks in an efficient and timely manner to setup and operate at least one production machine. May perform many manual or assembly production tasks and other duties needed to deliver quality products to customers on time.1. Set up and operate 3 or more production machines, and also operate special production machines.2. Utilizes good skills and intermediate level Knowledge of Production technology and methodology to perform machining and manual tasks Perform embossing, inserting, metering and other type machining as well as sorting, envelope stuffing, assembly and miscellaneous hand work.3. May be assigned to train, assist and help other people with work.4. Perform minor maintenance and work with others to provide assistance with major maintenance projects when assigned.5. Comply with all general work rules including housekeeping, safety and quality – required to keep own general work area clean and orderly.6. May utilize and/or operate material moving equipment, carts, etc. and use many production tools including hand tools and precision devices.Physical Requirements:Work requires incumbent to be mobile and in a standing / walking position with ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly. Uses hands to handle, finger, or feel objects and to perform keyboarding. Also uses hands and arms to reach and grab objects. Sometimes it is necessary to crouch or kneel. Successful performance requires good vision abilities including close vision.POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:Education and Experience:Generally high school vocational orientated background or related education is preferred, and typically, 3 months to 3 years of fast pace, high volume production experience or similar background or equivalent combination of education and experience is needed to successfully perform job requirements. Time classified in the specific job classifications does not automatically qualify an individual.
