You'll help strategize and plan activations that will drive the most buzz, engagement and conversion. Much of this role will also be about authentic relationship-building--you'll be reaching out to these digital influencers personally and often!Responsibilities:Management and Strategy (35%):Partnering with key stakeholders, you'll develop a digital strategy for always on activities (e.g., meet-ups, mailings) and campaigns (e.g., paid packages)You'll lead and project-manage programs to make sure plans are completed within budget and on time -- as you know, timing is half the battle in digital! You'll conceptualize additional activations to generate tons of digital influencer/consumer advocate love and brand buzz -- then do whatever it takes to execute your vision!You'll collaborate with regional stakeholders on market-specific digital initiatives at timesAnd of course you'll always stay on the cutting-edge of digital/social trends, including monitoring competitors, as well as innovative non-beauty verticals such as entertainment Research and Relationships (35%):You'll endlessly dig into digital activity across the social-sphere (e.g., Instagram, YouTube, Snapchat) to report on trends, content and collaborationsYou'll constantly comb through our own social to find digital influencers/consumer advocates who love us (plus new ones we need to connect with), then foster direct ongoing relationships You'll make timely, impactful recommendations for digital activations and partnerships that will help grow the brand, based on your research and relationship-buildingYou'll proactively monitor and track social conversations to get ahead of the next big idea!Measurement and Effectiveness (30%)You'll be all over the metrics, reviewing the numbers on our digital listening dashboards on a weekly (if not daily) basis to adapt and optimize programs for the most impact. You'll become a pro at reporting and pulling meaningful analysis out of data that can constantly change to help evolve best practices.At the corporate level, you'll liaise with key stakeholders to understand any new metrics that have been identified as critical, and help standardize analysis throughout the corporation. Thinks Strategically: Takes a broad view of the business, industry, and consumer environment to anticipate and plan for the future. Learns equally from successes and failures.','!*!Qualifications:You're a digital addict who's obsessed with following brands and influencers in social, especially on the next hot platform. Innovation and creative problem-solving are just two of your top strengths. You're known to think fast on your feet and find solutions when others may see a dead end. Both internal teams and external agencies love working with you because you're highly organized and detail-oriented when it comes to project/campaign management. You consider yourself left- and right-brained with analytical skills to evaluate program effectiveness and strong creative judgment to recognize what's on-brand. You can think strategically, while still always executing in a fast-paced environment. Beauty, fashion and/or style are probably personal passions.Education and Experience:BA or 4-year college degree required.5 years’ relevant experience in general communications with at least 2 of those in online communications, at a media organization or digital/print outlet. Expert in content development, channel optimization, brand consistency. Experienced with visual storytelling. Experienced with social media and content integration. Collaborative working style, with ability to work independently, as well as with team members at all levels of the Company. Excellent writing and editing skills, with a passion for and proven history of successful brand storytelling across media. Must be organized, detail-oriented and able to prioritize multiple projects.Editorial or commercial successes with measurable results.Active engagement in online and social media.Branding/beauty/fashion/entertainment experience desirable.Self-motivated; able to own projects and execute in a timely manner.Familiarity with analytics and meaningful measurement. Excellent time management, analytical, decision-making and organizational skills. Strong project management skills and ability to create and execute plans. Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel. Familiarity with Microsoft PowerPoint and Outlook.','We are an equal opportunity employer.
