KPMG is currently seeking a Manager in Financial Services for our Management Consulting practice.
Develop and deliver advisory services within property and casualty and life insurance companies
Advise clients on how to achieve an integrated single view of the customer to support inter-business cross-sell and up-sell as well as the business and IT implications of such a transformation
Collaborate with client's IT Architects, Chief Technology Officers, Chief Information Officers, Chief Data Officers, and other IT leaders and Line of Business Executives in the development, design, and implementation of IT solutions to meet business needs
Lead and support business development activities for individual opportunities, such as identification and proposal development, while working with additional KPMG resources from other service lines and industries
Meet with business owners and recipients of existing requirements to understand scope and objectives
Assist in the development and management of ongoing client relationships
Seven years of experience as a Technical Lead/Architect responsible for large scale implementations, either package or custom
Five years of experience in at least one insurance vertical and deep experience in a core insurance business function such as new business, claim, operations, underwriting, product development, financials, or investments
Experience with a broad spectrum of vendor systems and applications, including knowledge of underlying technologies and the ability to assess proper fit of vendor solutions into a specific architecture
Experience working with the leading policy administration, billing, and claims systems, as well as hands on experience with service-oriented architecture, services platforms, enterprise service bus, and integration platforms
Knowledge of data management infrastructure that includes data warehouse, Master Data Management reference data operational stores, and near real-time movement of data through continuous flows
Experience in system development life cycle (SDLC) and assessing alternatives in support of a major core insurance system transition, including evaluation of current state process and product aspirations of the business, IT fit, and alternative prioritized recommendations, travel may be up to 80-100%
