Position Summary and Responsibilities
The purpose of this position is to support the Business Unit’s objectives of growing the nuclear valve testing, OEM torque sensor and automotive torque product lines. The successful candidate will perform design and analysis work to develop new products and maintain existing ones. The applicant needs to be capable of integrating the latest sensor and DAQ technologies into several of Teledyne’s product lines for which he/she will be responsible. List essential functions of this job:
Design, develop, test and deploy products and accessories in support t of MOV and AOV Valve Testing
Design, develop, test and deploy products and accessories in support t of OEM and Automotive Testing
Use Solidworks to create and maintain product drawings in support of above
Troubleshoot existing product issues
BS Mechanical Engineering or BS Electro-Mechanical Engineering or similar
5 years of practical experience in the field of product development
Solid Modeling experience required.
SolidWorks 2010 or higher preferred.
FEA experience or knowledge of CosmosWorks is a plus.
Windows Office 2010 Software knowledge
