The Sr. Manager will be responsible for leading the global finance & accounting functions for Integrated Asset Management (IAM) and will be tasked with building, recommending, and executing on a roadmap to build the department and functionality to support the IAM business. Major initiatives include:
Determine appropriate department structure and resources to support oil & gas finance and accounting activities
Analyze, recommend, and implement oil & gas accounting system
Develop capital budget process for all oil & gas investments
Partner with Planning group to implement long range plan
Develop robust reporting for all oil & gas investments
Develop oil & gas hedging program in conjunction with Halliburton Treasury department
Completion of an accounting, finance, or business university degree required
Professional certification or advanced degree preferred.
(10 ) years of progressive management experience in oil & gas finance and accounting organization
15 years preferred.
Accounting knowledge of oil & gas investments
Familiarity with common office environment and key business systems including SAP, Hyperion, contract management applications, and similar applications.
Familiarity with various oil & gas finance and accounting systems
Ability to demonstrate advanced levels of proficiency with business, industry, and company acumen, as well as cultural awareness, performance management, and leadership skills gained through diverse experience and multiple roles within finance and accounting.
Experience in a financial, planning, and analysis group at an oil & gas company
Experience implement oil & gas finance and accounting systems
Experience with complex project structures
