HCA Grand Strand Medical Center is seeking Board Certified Adult Recon / Total Joint Arthroplasty Orthopaedic Surgeon. The ideal candidate will have experience with surgical homes, service line processes, and maximizing value for the patient.
This full time clinical appointment will allow the successful candidate to lead continued development of these clinical services, and offers extensive opportunities for both clinical and basic science research. All candidates must be currently Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery. Candidates with a track record of research are preferred, but not mandatory.
The successful candidate will join our team of fellowship trained. We are currently building a residency program with a goal of reaching 20 residents total. Our Graduate Medical Education program includes a PhD, and we have active ongoing research programs which are enhanced by medical student and resident participation.
The hospital utilizes the HCA EMR, as well as a PACS system for imaging. HCA is a nationally recognized hospital system. Grand Strand Medical Center is a Level I Trauma Center that serves the citizens of Myrtle Beach and the surrounding Carolinas.
