Summary:

Set up and operate mechanical press, inspect parts and assemblies for quality per blueprints and manufacturing specifications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

include the following:

Monitors and measures parts coming off the press to ensure they are within required specifications.

Makes adjustments such as adjusts and tightens hold down bolts, die springs and pins, adjusts straightening rolls, guides, feeder roll pressure, feed length to maintain quality of parts, etc.

Monitors continuous operation of press for proper feed of material from roll feed equipmentinto die.

Loads coil material and theads through roll feed equipment.

Makes repairs and preventative maintenance for proper machine care.

Maintains operations of parts washer and lube tank.

Observes all safety rules.

Supports team objectives.

Must be able to train on 1st shift.

Other duties as assigned.

Job Responsibilities:

Position is on 3rd shift.

Must be able to perform lockout and tagout.

Able to perform quality checks with dial calipers.

Maintain press operations.

Strong mechanical aptitude.

Must be able to work weekends as needed.

Must be able to work overtime as needed.

Forklift license is required.
