Production Asset Engineer','017619W-01','!*!DuPont Teijin Films seeks a Production Engineer responsible for managing a PET Film Production Line and supporting assets at the Hopewell plant site in Hopewell, Virginia.

This includes managing activities to deliver required output, efficiency, quality, safety and productivity performance from assigned assets. The Production Engineer develops and leads yearly plans for production, process, quality, and SHE improvements.
SHE - Safety, Health, & Environment
Works jointly with the Shift Manager in the following areas:
Respond immediately to any unsafe act or condition.
Make safety the overriding factor in decision-making processes.
Actively seek team input on SHE concerns to continuously improve safety systems and processes.
Leads and is directly accountable for the following:
Developing and maintaining systems and continuous improvement plans such as, but not limited to the following: Lock Out, Tag Out procedures, safety inspections, Process Design Modification (PDM) process, Management of Change (MOC) processes, coordinate with Shift Managers on equipment and procedural improvements, asset control during PM's and shutdowns, and asset mechanical integrity.
Personal development of 1 direct report (Production technician).
Provide direction to operators on production teams.
Developing and monitoring overall quality improvement plans while monitoring, maintaining, and ensuring standard conditions are documented per ISO requirements.
Lead FMEA and RCFA.
Coordinate/prioritize maintenance activities and coordinate scheduling and logistics with teams and schedulers.
Optimize product yields and efficiencies.
BS degree in Engineering preferred
5 years experience in a production environment
Chemical, petro, ink or paper manufacturing experience is a plus
Working knowledge and experience with ISO standards
Experience leading and supporting FMEA and RCFA
Six Sigma certification is strongly preferred
