Position Summary:

As a Quality Assurance Senior Manager – RxClaim, you will be accountable for the overall quality of the PBM RxClaim Adjudication software assets. You are responsible for leading Quality Assurance professionals, both in a full-time and consultant capacity. You will utilize your understanding of software quality methodology, people management and project management to ensure quality objectives and timelines are being met.

You will provide direction to your staff for the development of test plans, test schedule, estimates, and detailed test cases to ensure adequate test coverage. You will manage expectations and communicate effectively with business units, Project Management, and IT multi-functional teams.

You will have oversight to RxClaim Adjudication projects and allocate and deploy the appropriate resources for those projects. You will partner with both on-shore and off-shore vendors. You will work on multiple release schedules at a time and work on system releases monthly.

This position is located in Richardson, TX.

Additional responsibilities of the Quality Assurance Senior Manager – RxClaim include:

-Ensuring effective defect management and issue resolution through all test phases.

-Leading and running testing efforts for multiple projects for a defined area of responsibility to successfully and consistently deliver high-quality software products within budget and schedule.

-Conducting day-to-day management duties including interviewing, hiring, training employees, planning and assigning work, leading team performance, provide coaching and mentoring and addressing performance issues.

-Leading or participating in continuous improvement initiatives to identify and implement tools and utilities that enhance testing capabilities and product quality.

-Ensuring all staff is provided with frequent feedback and coaching in order to meet and exceed individual and team performance goals consistently.

-Managing and supporting new ideas from staff to cultivate improvements through innovations.


Required Qualifications:

-8 years in experience in various Quality Assurance roles including the following:

--5 years managerial experience.

--5 years experience QA methodology and principles, tools, processes, and metrics.

--3 years effective coaching and building high-performance teams skills.

--3 years experience of software and hardware systems and an understanding of the potential use of technology solutions in a business environment.

--3 years experience with project management, interpersonal, and facilitation skills that foster a sense of urgency and attention to detail.

--3 years in role applying verbal and written communication skills in articulating business objectives, independent decision-making and analytical skills.

--3 years executing all aspects of the software development life cycle (SDLC).

--3 years working with Adjudication and Eligibility systems, such as RxClaim.

--3 years AS400 and Mainframe experience.

--3 years partnering with onshore and offshore contractors.

Preferred Qualifications:

-Healthcare, pharmacy, or PBM knowledge.

-Testing automation experience.

-Delegation skills involving prioritizing and running projects of various size and complexity.

-Ability to work in pressure situations and manage multiple priorities.


-Bachelor’s Degree.

-Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science preferred.

-Will consider High School Diploma/GED plus experience in lieu of Bachelor’s Degree.
