Acts as a primary point of contact within the Retail Operations Support Team for the S2K & VeriFone Site Systems Team. The position is responsible for working with end- users (Retail Sites), Field Operations, S2K, VeriFone, Site Systems peers (Pricebook), Retail Technology, Retail Site System Vendors (S2K and VeriFone), and team leadership to implement and support the Retail Site Systems solutions that maintain and improve Retail services and increase customer satisfaction. This position will identify, support and implement process improvements and production support for the Site Systems functionality to include testing of new releases and oversee enhancement development. In addition, this position will support any documentation related with enhancement development, training, and testing.
* Identifies, researches, and resolves system issues proactively and provides resolution recommendations to peers and management. * Implement and maintain a forum to collect end-user requests for modification/enhancements and coordinate within the Site System team to ensure functional capability is met. * Collaborating with Retail Operation Support and Retail Technology co-workers, supports Retail systems and enhancements with appropriate testing, change management and communication. * Develops test scripts, plans, support documentation and training material for supported systems and uses test software identified to track testing. Works with On-Site-Trainers to deliver training and document updates as needed. * Monitors Vendor performance of POS (VeriFone) Help Desk Tickets and Back Office (S2K) Help Desk tickets for trends and identifies improvements opportunities and completes weekly trend analysis. * Supports Pricebook to setup/execute ampm Promotions as needed. * Become a functional expert of the POS and S2K back-office.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
* Minimum undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Information Technology or relevant discipline required. * Minimum 4 years diversified Retail systems support experience required.
* Ability to work autonomously without day-to-day direction or instructions. * Strong understanding of the relationship between Point-of-Sales and back office systems * Ability to mine data using Microsoft Office tools * Must be available for unscheduled travel as issues arise * Must be available to work extended or unscheduled hours as issues arise * Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment and promote teamwork * Ability to effectively interact with management
