We are hiring a SEO/SEM Manager
to join our Digital Marketing
team at our Vista, CA
IN A NUTSHELL
Are you a driven SEO/SEM leader? Our SEO/SEM Manager will help develop and implement paid and organic lead and traffic strategies that generate increased sales through brand awareness, campaign execution, and constant monitoring of customer behavior, throughout the shopper buying journey. In this position, as the subject matter expert, you will also help lead SEO strategy and execution, that helps set, implement, and optimize KPI’s and levers that drive our business. This position reports to the Director of Digital Marketing and works with the broader marketing team, while providing direct leadership to assigned individuals within the digital marketing team.

You will help align people, work, and systems with the business needs/strategy by setting clear expectations for the team. You’ll also provide team leadership and performance management by providing feedback, identifying development plans, and working to create a climate in which people want to do their best.
Can you strategize?
You will help develop and execute the UX and SEO strategy, as well as, champion SEM, Display, and Social paid media strategy, in order to increase web and mobile traffic and engagement. You’ll also lead form optimization and conversion best practices focused around a customer centric shopping experience, increasing category interest, brand preference, and market share in the digital space.
Are you metrics driven?
You will be responsible for understanding and providing campaign performance insight as it relates to setting and analyzing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and traffic reports. You’ll also own lead acquisition, attribution modeling, and form conversion, to improve lead volume, conversion rates, and ROI of our paid media budgets.
Can you manage a budget?
You will develop and manage the expense budget for digital marketing initiatives in collaboration with the Director of Digital Marketing and Brand Managers, to assure spending is consistent with overall brand strategy. You’ll also manage the paid media budget spending and ensure budgets align with channel strategy.
Can you manage outside resources?
You’ll lead our agency management efforts to deliver exceptional results by developing strategies and targets to include driving customer engagement and traffic to websites. You’ll also monitor progress and address concerns as needed while maintaining positive and productive working relationships, and identify and establish new relationships and resources as required.
Can you optimize?
You’ll define A/B testing and multi-variant testing options. You’ll also continuously optimize plans and programs to increase category interest, brand preference, and market share in the digital space.
Are you customer focused?
You will develop and deliver training sessions to our channel partners through online webinars, presentations, as well as, in person at conferences, meetings, and other special events.
Do you stay current?
You will keep ahead of digital marketing trends by investing in trainings, certifications, webinars, networking events, etc. to keep up with trends and latest technologies.
WHAT YOU NEED
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field is preferred.
At least five (5) years’ digital/online marketing experience is required, preferably in a manufacturing environment with high-ticket durable goods. Experience working with ecommerce (B2B, B2C) is a plus.
Minimum 2 years’ experience of providing team leadership team and directly managing others is required. Experience managing outside agencies is strongly preferred.
Must be certified in Google Adwords. Certification in Google Analytics is a plus.
Strong knowledge and understanding of Search Engine Optimization Tools (MOZ etc.), Photoshop / Illustrator, Paid Media Tools (PPC Advertising, Social Media, Web and Mobile UX, Analytics, Online Lead Generation Applications, Mobile Technology.
Must be proficient with MS Office applications and various content management systems (CMSs).
Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels within the organization as well as strong ability to work in a team environment, are required to be successful in this position.
Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% for channel partner visits, conferences, sales meetings, etc.
