Department: IS SOC Operations Team 4 (Hours Friday - Sunday 7am -7pm CST) The 24x7 IS System Operation Center (SOC) is seeking a talented individual that can learn multiple system including batch production support, Network Environment trouble shooting, or System Admin (server/client) , etc. • Manage daily SOC operational services process escalations from both Branch and Home Office to enable end user availability and productivity• Review performance through metrics and provide recommendations for process improvements• Lead by example in setting and meeting agreed upon expectations, maintaining open communication and creating a supportive environment• Develop and maintain high level analytical and organizational knowledge to effectively manage assigned responsibilities• Navigate through both technical and business related information in support of other key responsibilities• Analyze, detect, identify and correct technical problems and deficiencies• Develop, enhance and maintain documentation for Information Systems• Troubleshoot technology components in a hands-on fashion with assistance from more experienced Analyst or Team Leader if necessary• Monitor and collect data on system performance• Maintain system and application documentation• Schedule and assist in performance of hardware maintenance• Create tickets logging reports on batch jobs, hardware repairs, and situation alerts• Coordinate escalation and/or resolution to problems that occur on shift• Exercise initiative and judgment to efficiently manage the schedule to meet critical timeframes • Minimum of two years' experience in a batch production support role, Network Environment trouble shooting, or System admin (server/client) • Additional hours or change of shifts maybe required outside hours to support our 24x7 organization • Minimum of 2 years analytical and technical experience • Experience with one or more UWCC and CA7/CA11 batch scheduling tools. Working knowledge of FTP, TSO, Infopac, CICS, JCL and OPS/MVS related products Strong analytical and customer service skills & detail oriented • Self starter, quick learner, initiative, and proactive • Ability to multi task, prioritize, and balance multiple priorities • Effective in team setting or as individual contributor
