Sales Ops Senior Business Associate','174179','!*!This position will own and drive key business initiatives that will drive increased sales on a rotating project basis. These range from launching priority sales programs to capturing field best practices to supporting global account tiering to building out internal C-level presentations. The role must work cross-functionally to satisfy business requirements and meet the needs of several stakeholders across Field Sales, Sales Ops, Marketing, Product, Finance, and others. On some projects, but not all, you may be paired with a lower level associate to manage and coach. Your analytical, inter-personal, creative thinking, business management and leadership skills will be called upon from day one. Strong PowerPoint slide design and analytical Excel skills are a must. Beyond leading key initiatives, you will be required to play an active role in continual innovation, thought leadership, and growth of Sales Ops capabilities. This role reports to the Director of Account Strategy and Deployment. Required location: San Diego, CA. Example Areas of Responsibility: • Best practices capture o Interview and codify key sales success stories, opportunities, proposals from the field o Architect and manage a knowledge repository of best practices, tips and tricks from the field o Deliver effective webinar training to communicate successes across regions • Business process improvement o Redesign and optimize processes to align with business goals and strategies o Ensure effective implementation by incorporating interim process changes, metrics/SLAs to measure success, and general change management considerations o Organize, facilitate, and lead working teams and process workshops as needed to drive effective cross-functional collaboration • Sales program development o Identify and prioritize top priority offerings that drive immediate revenue and pipeline o Lead cross-functional interactions with various sales, operational and marketing divisions to drive unified collateral for sales field leverage o Review, refine and update sales materials through daily monitoring, metrics and interaction with field teams Education and Experience Requirements: Candidate must have 3 years of experience, preferably in the technology or management consulting industries. The candidate must have a fundamental understanding of the enterprise sales processes & the ability to work in a strong sales culture. Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills are a must. ','!*!Key qualifications and experience: • Experience in technology, consulting, or other business management environments beneficial, but not required • Strong critical thinker with ability to ramp-up on quickly on Teradata business & sales processes • Robust communication skills (verbal, written) including ability to present, facilitate, and negotiate • Independent problem solver who will take initiative and execute work • Must be deadline driven, organized and able to multi-task Bachelor degree in business or technical field required; MBA a plus. *Our total compensation approach includes a competitive base salary, 401(k), strong work/family programs, and medical, dental and disability coverage.
