We are seeking a Sr. Business Analyst to join the Aetna Medicaid IT team. Ideal candidate will be based out of our Phoenix, AZ or Chicago, IL location.
As a Business Analyst, you would be the conduit between our business stakeholder and our internal development teams. You will be responsible to create detailed requirements and work in either Waterfall or Agile environment. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with some of the best talent in the industry to create innovative high quality and defect-free solutions to meet our clients business needs.
- Prior Health Insurance Industry experience and Medicaid Experience is a plus
- Ability to gather and translate business and functional requirements into technical requirements
- Proven ability to deliver results within budget and on time.
- Proven ability to have strong communication skill
- Proven ability to demonstrate pictorial view of system flow to help understand requirements
- Proven ability to Focus on details
- Strong collaboration skill in a diverse working environment
- Team player with a bias for action and the desire to be part of an innovative, dynamic environment
- Contributes to the review of Test Planning and Test Execution strategies.
- Experience with SQL queries required
- Knowledge with Rational Requirement composer (RRC) is a plus
5 years Business Analyst experience.
Must possess sound knowledge of structured IT application development lifecycles, methodologies inclusive of Use Case tools.
Ability to recognize complex problems vs. objectives and apply creativity to analyze situations, develop solutions and procedures.
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
