As a leader in all aspects of Ag Service operations, you will manage, supervise all service staff, monitor departmental compliance with policies and procedures and assure the department functions at capacity while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. You will also be responsible for ensuring all departmental budgets and objectives are achieved.
Directs, motivates and provides leadership for respective Service Operations staff. Hires all support personnel and defines and implements the appropriate organizational structure and staffing level for the operation with the Store and Regional Manager.
Manages all financial aspects of their respective operations. Prepares annual budgets combined with the development of objectives and action plans to achieve profitability targets.
Responsible for department safety performance and achieving safety targets; zero lost time accidents.
Provides strategic direction on service products that Case would provide to Ag customers. Identifies new service products to offer customers.
Constantly improves work processes to increase customer satisfaction, efficiency, profitability and employee productivity and satisfaction.
Takes personal responsibility for each employee’s development, well-being and performance through quality one-on-one time, coaching, mentoring and delivery of regular feedback. Works with training to mutually develop training grids for each technician as applicable.
Incumbent assesses the required level of performance and assigns duties and compensation accordingly to assure that the department functions efficiently and at capacity while maintaining employee satisfaction.
Builds a teamwork atmosphere and ensures a high degree of employee satisfaction and productivity while holding individuals accountable for their actions. Builds a competent, high performance team that achieves expected results.
Responsible for maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
Responsible for management of the field service trucks appropriate for servicing current business needs. Ensures that field service vehicles are well maintained.
Develops an excellent working relationship with suppliers and their field representatives, Sales, Product Support and Parts Departments ensuring support of company’s overall goals.
Several years combined experience in service or parts supervision and management, preferably with Ag equipment.
Strong leadership skills which result in being a great coach, mentor and developer of people.
Strong management skills, including: change management, conflict resolution, performance enhancement, organization and project management skill.
Ability to develop strong customer relationships by exhibiting a high level of customer sensitivity and providing consistently high customer satisfaction levels.
Ability to analyze and interpret data, use benchmarks and take corrective action for the purpose of improving performance. Individual must have a complete understanding of financial statements and the influence of business situations on accounts.
Capable of setting multiple personal and/or work group objectives; each with clear intent, metrics, action steps, timeframes and responsibility. Understands degree of quality provided by tracking key metrics, benchmarks and continuously improves processes to improve quality performance.
Good computer skills, including experience using Microsoft Office software as Word, Excel, Power Point, and other data base systems.
