JOB TITLE: HR Training Coordinator SUMMARY: This position is responsible for conducting orientation with all new Team Members on Tyson policies and procedures. Visit New Hire on production floor daily for the first two weeks to ensure proper onboarding; communicate progress with Supervisor and ensure 1 week evaluation, 2 week follow-ups, and 30 day metrics are performed timely. Collect data from evaluations to track New Hire attitudes and behaviors throughout the onboarding process. Share reports of comments, attitudes, and behaviors to increase awareness and encourage communication among Supervisors & Management. Assist in developing individualized retention strategies for Team Members identified as flight risks. Develop and manage incentives and activities to engage Team Members in Plant goals, safety awareness, and efficient operations. Identify the training needs of personnel at all levels in the Plant. Conduct quarterly situational training with Supervisors and Leads to facilitate leadership, communications, and retention awareness. Update communication channels to keep information fresh and inviting for Team Members. Recommend appropriate new direction for training and organizational development activities based on the business objectives of the Plant. Assist with other duties as directed by Manager. QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to present material to large groups of future and present Team Members as well as Management Support & Management staff. Special Skills: Must be able to make sound decisions independently & display sound judgement and leadership skills, self-motivated with the ability to innovate new concepts, and have strong teaching skills and the ability to work with Team Members from diverse backgrounds. REQUIREMENTS: Education: Preferably an Education beyond High School including special training, vocational school and/or college courses is preferred. Experience: 3 years in an HR/Benefits administrative role preferred. Communication Skills: verbal, written & presentation skills; bi-lingual skills a plus but not required. Computer Skills: Basic knowledge of all Microsoft Office PC applications, plus knowledge of the SAP system preferred. Travel: Some travel required for training purposes.
