The CFO partners with the GM and other senior leaders to drive the financial performance of the business. CFO is responsible to independently ideate, conceptualize, develop and deploy analytical solutions that help exceed business goals. He/She will oversee operationalization of financial improvement levers across both revenue and cost. CFO is responsible for the following:BUDGETING• Coordinating and leading the planning process conforming to business vision & objectives. Business plans developed should help achieve strategic results• Plans to be developed are multi-year strategic plan and annual operational plan • Identify KPIs which link to the strategy and model financials outcomes of strategic initiativesFORECASTING• Be involved in single and multi-quarter forecasting with a focus to improve performance• Be engaged in developing tools, methodologies, templates which assist in predictable forecasting• Understand the reasons for variances to expectations including timely identification and correction of financial or operational concernsREPORTING & ANALYSIS• Deep involvement in Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Business reviews• Investor relations support• Achieve reporting simplification with specific focus on value added analysis OVERALL/ OTHERS• Make business decisions/ suggestions based on in-depth key financial factors. Recommendations should be backed by data and should be able to hold it when challenged• Create an environment in which interaction with customers is expected to strengthen relationships. Influence decisions aligned to company goals while having open and “straight talk” about difficult issues• Ensure effective SOX and business controls in all FP&A processes, tools and deliverables are maintained• Consult with business leaders at the SVP and VP level to drive and influence strategic decision-making within a broad scope • Leads process improvement and policy development initiatives that impact the business /function• Works with cross cultural teams based out of different geographies to drive the desired outcome. Requires flexibility of working across time zones• Demonstrate excellence in engagement delivery, thought-leadership, strategic problem solving, high impact team management and strong customer relations at senior executive levelsQualifications:• Bachelors, CPAs, MBAs (from reputed schools)• Typically 12 years of experience with 4 years in people management roles• Typically experienced in a variety of finance functions with preference to IT service industryRequired Experience/Skills:• Prior exposure to IT services industry• Strong Analytical skills with an ability to synthesize. Should possess superior ability to present data in a logical, executive consumable manner• Ability to deal with ambiguity, connect the dots and form the big picture• Excellent understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis• Excellent consulting, influence, and negotiation skills• Ability to build partnerships across functionsEssential Job Functions Performs highly complex financial analyses including budgeting, trend analysis, forecasting, and financial modeling; develops and implements capitalization methods, and reviews journal entries to meet business needs. Monitors expenditures for service or performance contracts and recommends appropriate course of action when issues are identified. Analyzes and collects budget and other financial information and develops quarterly and midyear forecasts for large, complex organizations. Interprets, summarizes, and uploads forecast information to financial systems to provide information about profit and loss. Provides budget assistance to multiple projects or large programs; assesses circumstances and recommends appropriate course of action. Analyzes budget, midyear forecast and other financial information and prepares presentations with recommendations to senior client management, senior company management and corporate office; communicates with client, management and the corporate office regarding financial issues. Develops financial controls, procedures, systems, and forecasting techniques to evaluate contract/program status and ensure compliance with government and customer requirements. Identifies additional requirements or necessary changes and develops and implements appropriate course of action. Forecasts accurate and timely cash flow projections, sales projections, budget projections, and expense projections to ensure that business needs are met. Assists department managers with the budgeting process by working with department managers through the development process of each budget. Develops and implements business reporting tools and process or procedural changes. Creates training documentation and makes presentations to other organizations. Collaborates with other departments and/or clients in special projects as required. Provides leadership and work guidance to less experienced personnel. ','!*!
