This position will rely on the candidate having strong business acumen with competence across a wide array of disciplines. The position directly supports the head of the business by driving strategic initiatives, coordinating all business management needs, and partnering with business and functional stakeholders to set and achieve the strategic plan for the business, among other responsibilities. The position also requires the candidate to support a global marketing organization with coordination and execution of projects and messaging. This role is international in nature and will require coordination across multiple regions. Global Financial Solutions is one of three publicly reported segments of First Data, and provides financial institutions, which include bank and non-bank issuers such as retailers with proprietary card portfolios, with a broad range of solutions that enable them to offer financial products and solutions to their customers. The business serves over 1,200 financial institutions globally and delivers value to clients through a variety of channels, including end-to-end outsourced credit processing and software delivery utilizing our proprietary VisionPLUS application. Our solutions include credit card and loans processing, commercial payments, and related support services.  Manage large strategic projects to achieve business objectives including but not limited to M&A deals, partnerships, strategic planning, and organizational designHelp determine and articulate the strategic vision for the Global Financial Solutions business in conjunction with the VP of Strategy and the EVP of GFSAssist in driving business growth in partnership with business stakeholders through projects including but not limited to pricing, development of client facing materials, expense management, sales, and new wins  Coordinate all business management needs for the GFS business, including business reviews, staff meetings, presentations to senior executives and the Management Committee, and coordination of inputs by the regional teamsSupport the GFS marketing team with sales enablement, including creation of client materialsExecute digital marketing and sales lead generation initiativesBe responsible for tracking and reporting of marketing programsAssist in collecting information\/data, analyze data and identify and effectively communicate trends, etc.Support financial planning and forecasting process for the business in conjunction with the finance, sales, and product teamsExecute projects critical to the business on an as-needed basisCandidate Requirements:Strong presentation writing and modeling skills. Ability to wear many hats as required by the business leadSelf-motivated with the ability to prioritize multiple simultaneous projects\/deliverables and see them through to successful completionDemonstrated ability to work both independently and in a team environment, balance multiple projects, shifting priorities, and deadlines High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe suitePossess business acumen and ability to read financial statementsAbility to pick up and apply new concepts quicklyAbility to communicate in a clear and concise mannerAbility to set goals and meet deadlinesAttention to detailCommunication with all levels of managementCollaboration skills and ability to work effectively as a team member  Preferred Qualifications4 year degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing from a top tier universityPrior experience working in chief of staff, investment banking, consulting business management, B2B Marketing, or strategy roles.First Data is an Affirmative Action Equal Opportunity Employer(Minorities\/Females\/Vets\/Disabled\/LGBT)
