Training and Development Specialist (Procurement), Madison, MS','092798','USA-Mississippi-Madison','','!*!Setup, prepare and conduct supply chain training program for procurement, subcontracts and compliance support staff

• Develop skillset assessment and competency tools, and assess supply chain training needs and certification requirements

• Develop and maintain comprehensive training development plan for all supply chain personnel, in conjunction with supply chain leadership

• Prepare training materials, outlines, classroom agendas, and webinars for delivery

• Conduct presentations and webinars

• Deploy training to targeted personnel

• Create instructor materials (course outlines, background material, instructional materials, and training aids)

• Work in tandem with the Group and Corporate Development to improve internal training documentation.

• Continuously enhance, improve and update instructional delivery and presentation skills

• Ensure training quality & consistency of course content 

• Keep training content updated as process and regulatory updates are released

• Maintain training and development repository / database

• Manage the training program in accordance with business needs, compliance requirements, and corporate policies

• Plans and directs classroom training, helps develop electronic learning materials, and other computer-aided instructional technologies.

• Performs evaluation of performance and compliance audits to identify training opportunities & improvements  

• Must be able to work independently with little supervision and be a self-starter.

• High energy and enthusiastic presentation style to engage and energize participants

• Familiarity with a variety of training methods, tools and techniques

• A solid teacher, coach and guide for all levels of trainees

• Proven ability to master the full training cycle

• Sound decision making and organizational skills

• Ability to present complex information to a variety of audiences

• Other duties as assigned.


*IND','!*!Bachelor’s degree, plus 6 years’ experience in Training & Performance Development Management in Procurement OR Associate’s degree plus 10 years’ experience in Training & Performance Development Management in Procurement OR High School diploma or Equivalent plus 14 years’ of exempt experience in Training & Performance Development Management in Procurement.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in delivering classroom training and web based training preferred.

• Experienced in Supply Chain Management training, preferably within the aviation or aerospace industry

• Proven ability to master the full training cycle

• Proficient in SAP and MS Office Suite
