If you are looking to make a valuable difference for people everywhere — and for yourself — we may have the right place for you.The Vice President of Strategic Account Management is responsible for managing a team of strategic Account Managers and a channel Operations team.  This resourceful leader will engage with leaders across the organization to advocate for the goals, needs and objectives of account managers and Retail partners.  Additionally, the leader will have operational responsibilities for making sure the channel is maximizing efficiencies, support and delivery. The account management team drives revenue through increased card sales, adoption of additional prepaid services and increased presence within our retail partners via consultative relationship management that breeds loyalty, longevity and trust within relationships. Responsibilities:
Responsible for increasing revenue within managed client base, developing long-term, loyal client and partner relationships, negotiating complex amendment terms and insuring the delivery of excellent products and services.
Drive collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure delivery of key business objectives – channel revenue deliverables, product development initiatives, customer experience improvements, finance/accounting projects, technology/legal priorities.
Leverage data, analytics and industry knowledge to maintain and identify new revenue opportunities with existing clients.
Utilize Netspend’s products, programs, platform capabilities and business leaders to optimize relationships.
Identify new Prepaid opportunities, features, and capabilities that can impact the success of the program and lead efforts to design and execute new employee/cardholder acquisition strategies.
Excellent communication skills; timely distribution of pertinent information within team and within proper organizational channels.
Lead performance forecasting for the strategic partner.
Escalation point internally to prioritize client needs and desires.
Solidify relationships within managed client base through amendments which extend terms of the relationship.
Take an active role in product development planning and spearhead opportunities to optimize the customer experience for the product and streamline processes.
Identify and approve various client communications.
Drive and measure quarterly and annual team and individual goals.
Acute problem solving skills and the ability to engage appropriate colleagues to solve problems quickly and accurately.
Prepare key account and management reports.
Track contractual obligations.
Maintain deep competitive and industry knowledge to drive strategy and client discussion.
Skills/Education/Experience:
Minimum 12 years demonstrated success in financial services, prepaid account management and/or product management.
Bachelors Degree preferably in business; Masters degree or MBA preferred.
Proven ability to establish productive working relationships at all levels and influence. change with internal and external business partners.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proven track record of Operational Excellence.
Strong leadership skills with a collaborative team approach.
Highly organized, detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and respond quickly in an ever-changing environment.
Proven track record of focusing on solutions, key metrics and results, propelled by positive can-do attitude, energy and entrepreneurial spirit to achieve financial success.
Ability to maintain good balance of strategic vision and tactical implementation.
Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, executive team and industry groups.
Strong time management and organizational skills.
High energy and motivation to achieve success; self-directed entrepreneurial spirit.
