Sr. Sales Director
The candidate will be demonstrating industry expertise, researches and analyzes the current market to identify opportunities for new client acquisition, upselling existing clients, and regaining lapsed clients. Exhibits an understanding of the Brand Protection/eControl competitive landscape and articulates the company’a point of difference when engaging with clients. Is always seeking to learn and can teach a sales team to ensure their industry iQ is at a highly proficient level as measured within their performance review process. Uses data and analytics, to discover and uncover client brand opportunities and pain points. Positions the company’s solutions in a way that clearly addresses and solves client challenges at the highest level with the organization. Instills the problem-solving skill set in the team. Exhibits a solution first mind-set. Builds trust thru transparency, creates strong relationships with key client stakeholders at both the senior and mid-management levels. Gains a seat at the client’s table and is viewed by them as a trusted advisor/extended arm of their team. Creates a system to assess and track overall client health, objectively reports on client health and articulates plans to maintain and enhance client health over time. Works closely with their team to instill strategic partnership building skills. Leads negotiations to secure long term revenue commitments by working alongside internal subject matter experts and external business owners to negotiate multi-year agreements that result in a win/win for both parties. Establishes annual sales goals and go to market execution strategies. Leads regular meetings with the sales team and leadership to provide visibility on progress relative to goals. Provides weekly pipeline report and monthly/quarterly/annual sales forecasts with high levels of accuracy.  Coaches and develops direct reports. Builds a high performing sales team. Collaborates effectively with Marketing, Customer Success, Finance and Legal SMEs go to market alignment. Communicates effectively both verbally and in writing. Displays executive presence and engages at the c-level both internally and externally with confidence and clarity.  Exhibits inspirational leadership conveying care about the overall health and wellness of his/her team. Effectively influences others by maintaining a friendly, positive, and fact-based approach through their behaviors and interactions. Acts as a team player working with trust and transparency across functions. Exhibits intellectual curiosity, actively seeking diverse ways of thinking and innovative ways of getting things done. Respects others always. Takes pride in guiding and developing others. Acts in alignment with company values. Has a proven track record of meeting and exceeding revenue targets and passionate about building high-performance sales teams who achieve their individual and team goals. Has experience in early high growth stage startups. Demonstrates C-Level penetration strategies. Can map key stakeholders within SMB, and Enterprise clients, builds champions, and closes deals with the VP and C-level decision makers. Strong at prospecting, cold calling, and needs-based selling. And can develop sellers to be best in class in these same skills. Strong negotiation skills. Ability to effectively communicate value propositions through presentations and proposals. Executive presence when engaging at the c-level. Ability to prepare quarterly internal business reviews. Must be proficient at analyzing data, building reporting, and making strategic recommendations based on data, analytics, and trends. Knows how to forecast the business with a high level of accuracy.  Will lead sales enablement/training efforts focused on account penetration strategies, account mapping, negotiations, prospecting, and sales collateral development. Bachelor’s degree in a related field and or equivalent experience. 5+ years’ experience in a SaaS sales role. 2+ years of people management experience, leading teams.
