Clinical Assistant Professor

The candidate will be responsible for all aspects of teaching a clinic in the general area of civil liberties and media law, including curriculum development and provision or supervision of services to appropriate clients; as well as additional teaching with an experiential focus and service. Will have 3 year contract, indefinitely renewable if appropriate progress is achieved, with advancement to ranks of Clinical Associate Professor and Clinical Professor in subsequent contract terms. Must have an excellent academic background, including a J.D. degree, at least 2 years experience in practice or clinical teaching, and evidence of promise in law school experiential teaching and clinical student supervision. Should have currently licensed to practice law in New York or eligible to be admitted to practice in New York on motion without examination.
