Duties: The candidate will identify complex tax issues and provide tax analyses for a variety of hedge fund clients and affiliates. Perform a detail-level review of tax work papers, allocations, and tax returns, as well as perform research to advise on transactional and tax planning opportunities with the support of the robust Washington National Tax group. Coordinate and communicate with the client contacts to gather information. Train, mentor, and supervise new and experienced-level staff and attend required sector-specific training.
