Associate/Senior Associate International Tax
The candidate will be assisting foreign pension funds with their US investments. Assisting multinational enterprises with forming branches and subsidiaries in the US. Performing structuring and diligence services regarding US investments in business operations, real estate, and timber. Providing compliance and operational assistance to REITs and other real estate holding companies Providing advice to wealthy individuals moving into or out of the US. Preparing tax returns and other compliance for foreign taxpayers. Preparing tax provisions for US subsidiaries and branch operations. Preparing complex computations and governmental disclosures related to FIRPTA and partnership withholding, GILTI, section 163(j). Preparing tax returns and other tax disclosures. Prepare financial and tax models computing cash tax impacts of proposed planning. Researching technical issues pertaining to international tax issues and tax treaties. Drafting technical memoranda and opinions. Bachelor's degree in Accounting is preferred. CPA, JD, Masters in Taxation, or LL.M is preferred. Should have 1+ years of tax accounting experience.
