Duties: Supervise the academic work related to the student externship program. Teaching a one-credit course. Reviewing and commenting on student work (essays and time reports), counseling students by email and phone as needed, creating, monitoring and responding to submissions to one time-limited online forum, and contacting students’ supervisors as appropriate. Because summer externs often work in placements outside of the area, much of the communication with students will be via email.
