Stockbridge office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks criminal defense attorney with 2+ years of experience, including motion practice experience. The candidate will have direct contact with clients and opposing counsel, drafting pleadings, conducting investigations, arguing motions, pretrial hearings, and trials. Will review client issues on legal matters, analyze available options, and diligently work to determine the best course of action. Organize and maintain files to ensure accuracy for other attorneys, paralegals, and staff. Perform legal research, prepare for and attend hearings or other legal proceedings, and give general counsel under the supervision of senior associate attorneys. Resolve cases efficiently by using communicating effectively with and working alongside senior attorneys and paralegals. Prepare correspondence and legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, briefs, affidavits, motions, and settlement agreements for contract negotiations and proceedings. Should have strong litigation experience and can demonstrate the ability to learn quickly. Must be licensed in the State of Georgia. Active membership with the American Bar Association (ABA) is essential.
