Assistant Director of Admissions
The candidate will participate in the development and implementation of JD admission strategic goals and objectives to increase applications and programming; Initiate, cultivate, and maintain relationships with external and internal parties, including students, pre-law advisors, administrators, alumni, faculty, staff, and peers; Develop, implement, and supervise admission events; Recruit at law school fairs, forums, and private visits nationwide; Build and maintain relationship with applicants throughout the admission cycle; Assist in the development and implementation of alumni volunteer activities to enhance student recruitment; Manage applicant data and ensure data integrity, including CRM system data management; Produce admission decision and scholarship letters; Track and analyze data; Generate regular operational, statistical, and narrative reports; Collaborate with Marketing/Communications staff to develop and implement marketing materials and targeted communication plans, including electronic communications and social media platforms; Hire and supervise student office employees; Build community among students and student organizations; Work closely with other Admission staff and participating in related Admission, Career, Student Life, and Diversity initiatives. A Bachelor's degree is required. Should have 3+ years of college admission or recruiting experience in a university or business environment or related experience. A JD or other graduate or professional degree is highly preferred. Previous law school admission experience is preferred. Experience in effectively planning and implementing an annual work plan is preferred.
