Job Overview: A law firm in Omaha, NE, is seeking a highly qualified Corporate Associate Attorney to join their Technology, Manufacturing, and transportation business unit. The ideal candidate should possess extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions as well as private equity, along with a strong commitment to the community and exceptional interpersonal skills. This role requires the ability to thrive under pressure, demonstrate outstanding judgment, manage multiple projects effectively, and articulate legal strategies and courses of action. An active Bar license in the state of Nebraska is a mandatory requirement.


  • Collaborate with attorneys in the Technology, Manufacturing & Transportation business unit to provide legal counsel and support to corporate clients.
  • Handle mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, and related corporate matters.
  • Draft and review legal documents, contracts, and agreements.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support clients' needs.
  • Assist in due diligence processes for corporate transactions.
  • Represent clients in negotiations, meetings, and transactions.


  • 6 years of relevant experience in mergers and acquisitions and private equity.
  • Excellent academic credentials from a reputable law school.
  • Active Bar license in the state of Nebraska.
  • Strong commitment to the local community and demonstrated involvement in community service or pro bono work.
  • Superior interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Exceptional judgment and the capacity to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to articulate legal strategies and courses of action.


  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.


  • Active Bar license in the state of Nebraska.
