The clerkship involves significant responsibility in both administrative and substantive work. Clerks are responsible for managing their workload, staying on top of their calendars, and helping the judge manage hers. The core responsibility is researching for, analyzing for, and drafting orders. Should preferably have a class standing in the Top 20%. Should have post-law-school civil litigation or clerkship experience. Must be able to analyze soundly and write clearly in a way that conveys the information as effectively as possible both to the immediate audience (the judge) and to the litigants and wider community who compose the ultimate readership.

Clerkship Term: November 1, 2021 - November 1, 2022.
