VP, Associate General Counsel
The candidate will lead and support certain M&A transactions, strategic collaborations, investments and other contractual matters to support the company’s global business, including coordination of legal strategy, negotiation, and drafting; transactional matters include acquisition agreements, collaboration agreements, and investment agreements. Support of digital health, instrument software, automation and informatics initiatives. Collaborate with global cross-functional teams on a variety of corporate matters. Act as a business partner and be the key legal resource to designated business or functional groups, such as Business Unit leaders and Business Development, including proactively supporting the group’s business objectives, initiatives and strategy. Perform special assignments or projects as necessary, and other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Participate actively in the leadership of the legal and compliance team; with the other members of the legal and compliance leadership, support the development of the legal and compliance team and promote the team’s effectiveness, efficiency and responsiveness.
