SUMMARY
Global Technical Solutions, a subsidiary of Bering Straits Native Corporation, is currently seeking a qualified Sr. Analyst II for IMSP II support at NAVSUP-WSS in Philadelphia, PA on behalf of DLA Aviation. The contractor shall provide analytical, program, and project management support to DLA Aviation by providing support to the DLA Aviation Customer Operations Directorate, NAVSUP WSS Industrial Support Department, Division leadership, Industrial Support Activities, and Weapon Systems Program Managers. assist the Integrated Logistics Section of the Navy Customer Facing Division, in analyzing data for logistics and technical requirements. While these requirements can vary widely in scope, they generally relate to the logistics and technical requirements for providing consumable support to the Industrial Support activities to ensure there are no work stoppage due to piece parts. Analyze Bi-monthly Single Downer/ Backorder Material File in support of DLA-Aviation’s vision to improve supply support and long range sustainment for repair of NAVSUP WSS assets.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Identify NSN/NIINs for Restricted Stock (EA) SOH at the Industrial Support Activities (ISAs) that could potentially fill backorder requirements.
Identify NSN/NINS with Purchase Requisitions yet to be awarded, Purchase Orders with lengthy Contract Delivery Dates (CDDs) and submit to 3PL to locate and quote for possible procurement.
Collects material data, validates supply status and provides unique NIIN information to brief during bi-weekly/weekly calls.
Provide date for periodic reporting and briefings for subject support.
QUALIFICATIONS - EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION
Required (Minimum) Qualifications
Eight years’ experience applying knowledge of management functions, processes, and analytical methods or techniques to gather, analyze, and evaluate information required by a program/project managers and customers.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferably in Business, Management, Logistics, Information Management Systems, or related field from an accredited college or university. An additional 5 (five) years of directly related experience may be substituted for the Bachelor’s degree.
Requires knowledge of aviation logistics and basic business disciplines such as accounting, management, and finance.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of DLA Systems and DOD Supply Programs, Microsoft Office programs
Knowledge with Navy Supply Systems
Familiar with Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) processes and programs
Preferred
Experience in aviation logistics at one of the DLA defense supply centers is desirable.
Experience in ILS programs
Experience with Naval Aviation and Navy Depot Industrial Operations

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Job is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse and multi-line telephone system. The work described herein is primarily a modern office setting. Occasional travel may be required.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
No supervisory responsibilities.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS
As a condition of employment, may be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results to obtain access to military base. Must have reliable transportation to/from work a necessity and must be able to obtain access to military installations.
