Senior Content Strategist

The Senior Content Strategist plays a key role in helping our clients provide the right information at the right time to the right audience. As the Senior Content Strategit, you will be called upon to support website maintenance and redesign projects for a client with complicated information that needs to be completely reimagined and revised. While having an understanding of editorial principles, this role requires more of a user experience content strategist, and how UX integrates with content.

This is a senior-level position that requires minimal day-to-day direction yet enjoys being part of a content strategy team that provides insights and improvement opportunities.

You will:

Implement and manage compelling and well-organized content based on a thorough understanding of business goals, user needs, and industry best practices

Decipher complicated information and reimagine how to organize and display for web reading

Develop and share expertise on content strategy to support client needs

Use SEO and marketing science research to help define content strategies

Inventory and assess current state digital content and ecosystem to identify strengths, weakness, gaps, inconsistencies and opportunities

Collaborate with user experience team members to develop flexible and intelligent content structures and experiences

Collaborate with copywriters and creative team members to ensure the right information is displayed using the right presentation style

Support editorial content creation and governance workflows

Present your content strategies to internal team members

Think through the entire content ecosystem when developing content strategies, including social media, email campaigns, overall campaigns, etc.

Review content to ensure content and copy guidelines are used properly

You have:

5 years experience

Understand information architecture, user experience and SEO principles and how it integrates with content strategy

Able to work quickly and efficiently

Enjoys paying attention to detail

Past agency experience preferred

Passion for content strategy and digital trends

Knowledge of web and content accessibility

Experience with multi-language sites

Desire to learn from your peers and believe in constant improvement
