OverviewnThe Legal Assistant u2013 Employment & Litigation supports the Employment & Litigation team with administrative functions. The Legal Assistant interacts with individuals at all levels of the business, Sproutsu2019 outside legal counsel and staff, and representatives of government agencies, claimants, and their counsel bringing claims against the Company. nFlexible Hybrid schedule.nEssential Functionsnn Assist with the investigation and collection of information and documents related to claim analysis, requests for information, requests for production, and other discovery.n Maintain matter management system.n Track and update case lists and related status reports.n Manage litigation-related deadlines and calendars.n Arrange client interviews.n Track outside counsel costs and settlement expenditures.n Support outside counsel invoicing and payment process.n Draft correspondence.n Issue and track litigation hold notices.n Support and monitor response to subpoenas and other record requests.n Interact effectively and efficiently with the Companyu2019s external counsel and any opposing parties as needed.n Communicate and effectively partner with internal departments and senior leaders, and represent the team in a helpful and professional manner.n Perform other duties as assigned.nnKnowledge, Skills, Abilities and Physical Requirementsnn Must enjoy helping people and have a patient, tactful manner. n Excellent written and verbal communication skills. n Ability to utilize appropriate discretion and judgment in dispensing information.n Strong work ethic and team player mentality.n Ability to multi-task and consistently meet aggressive and time-sensitive deadlines.n Proactive, highly organized and detail-oriented.n Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PPT and Outlook.nnBenefitsnIn addition to a rewarding career, Sprouts offers a comprehensive program to help support you and your family.
