Job Details:

This position is responsible for ensuring all materials are transported and/or unloaded in a timely manner while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

This position is responsible for palletizing in either the Flour or Corn department. This position is responsible for tasks such as operating a pallet jack (electric and manual) in an industrial setting, taking boxes off of a conveyor and placing boxes on pallets. This position also requires the use of a hand held scanner. This positions requires the ability to operate an electric pallet jack. This position is required to follow all Tyson safety rules. This position will be exposed on a routine basis to warm temperatures ranging from 65-90 degrees, wet/ and or humid conditions, slippery floors in some areas, and concrete floors. This position also may be exposed to airborne particles (primarily flour dust), and a noise level loud enough to require hearing protection. If an applicant meets the minimum requirements for consideration, they may be contacted for an interview. If the applicant is not contacted in the month that they applied, they will need to reapply again in the next month to be considered.

To qualify Team Member must be a full-time Team Member and have completed probationary period. If a full time Team Member is not selected, then probationary period Team Members will be considered for the position. If you appear to have the necessary qualifications and are interested in bidding on this position, you must do so in Workday before the position closes. DISCRETIONARY JOBS are awarded to the best candidate based on qualifications to include, work history, attendance, and position requirements. Must not have received a warning in the last three months or a warning with suspension or demoted themselves within the last (6) months. No more than (4.0) attendance points listed at the time of the job bid ending date. Successful bidders may not be allowed to bid for (6) months unless the bid is for a higher classification rating.
