International Tax Experienced Associate

The candidate will be utilizing tax research skills to provide international tax advice and working with tax software applications to assist clients with tax reporting obligations for international operations. Bachelor’s degree is required; focus in in Accounting is preferred. Juris Doctorate degree, LL.M., and/or MST/MBT is preferred. Should have 1+ years of prior experience in professional services or equivalent experience gained through an advanced degree program. Experience in international tax is preferred. Experience utilizing RIA, BNA, Lexis Nexis and/or Westlaw, beneficial is preferred. Basic understanding of the technical and practical issues and opportunities regarding one or more areas of taxation and law is required. Basic knowledge and understanding of general calculations and cause / effect for taxable conditions on clients and the potential tax issues is required. CPA certification, Attorney (admitted to practice in a U.S. jurisdiction), or Internal Revenue Service Enrolled Agent (“EA”) (or the equivalent of one of these designations) is preferred.
