Candidate will be responsible to support several County departments with a variety of legal needs. Assets & Infrastructure (Parks, Trails, and Historic Sites and Public Safety). Must have: Bachelor of Arts / Business Administration. JD Degree. Admission to the Bar of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania. 4 years' Litigation and Real Estate Law. Familiarity with drafting/reviewing a variety of agreements including easements, leases, volunteer waivers, licenses, and contracts. Familiarity with grant and contract review, public procurement, HOA agreements, NPDES permitting as administered by local conservation districts; and sunshine law and basic rules for the conduct of open meetings. Familiarity with drafting, reviewing and enforcement of lease agreements. Familiarity with Sunshine laws and basic rules for the conduct of open meetings, Agricultural Conservation Easement Purchase Program, Real Estate transactions including property appraisals and closings. Familiarity with the Mental Health Procedures Act, basic trial skills. Familiarity with local zoning, and plan approval process, a variety of land acquisition processes including condemnation via eminent domain, donation, and purchase. Familiarity with Sunshine Laws and basic rules for the conduct of open meetings. Familiarity with drafting and editing trail easement agreements and other legal aspects of trail construction.
