Description
The Senior Technology Leadership Professional is responsible for executing and delivering on IT business strategies and solutions. Senior Technology Leadership Professional work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of solutions, situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors across people, process and technology.
Responsibilities
The Senior Technology Leadership Professional works with business teams and technology teams to drive solutions, products and programs from inception through full delivery while increasing business agility. Supports solution and program evaluation, qualifications and implementation for operational delivery teams and enterprise compliance. Ensures that strategies are executed, best practices are followed and solution delivery meet specifications and quality requirements. Interacts with development engineering leaders and teams, quality, operations and business leaders to analyze, provide technical support and resolve challenges. Begins to influence operational strategy through empirical processes. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for process and delivery. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments, work is performed with minimal direction.
Establish new or improve current processes and coordinate solution delivery for optimized efficiency and productivity
Review, design, and execute on improvements to operational delivery structure, find knowledge and skills gaps and help address them
Oversee program and/or solution delivery through coordination and collaboration with senior management and department leaders, performing an array of tasks including consulting, managing, training, and removing barriers to unblock work
Build and develop relationships with all associates for increased efficiency and effective responsiveness into existing operations, and help to define new operational strategies to increase business agility
Serve as a subject matter expert on all assigned programs and initiatives, handling inquiries and developing action plans to address them, and oversee execution of those plans through consulting with and guiding teams and key leaders
Willingness to seek creative solutions and provide interim steps towards overall goals over firm resolution on full implementation of the 'right' way
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
5 or more years of technical experience
Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across varying levels of personnel
Ability to influence without authority
Program & Project Manager Experience
Experience leading and executing strategic initiatives
Proficient with full Microsoft Office suite, Microsoft Sharepoint, Microsoft Teams
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Solid understanding of operations, technology, communications and processes
Preferred Qualifications
Project Management Certifications
Experience with Microsoft Project, ServiceNow PPM, Azure DevOps, PowerBI
Agile certifications such as Product Owner, Product Manager, or Scrum Master Certification
Experience with technology solutions assessments

All Humana associates approved for the Home or Hybrid Home/Office work styles are required to self-provide wireless, wired cable or DSL access to the internet at the connectivity speeds required by the company to successfully perform their job with the exception of associates who live or work from home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota. Connectivity requirements are detailed below.

To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates' ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates must meet the following criteria:
At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended to support Humana applications, per associate.
Wireless, Wired Cable or DSL connection is suggested.
Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if they provide an optimal connection for associates. The use of these methods must be approved by leadership. (See Wireless, Wired Cable or DSL Connection in Exceptions, Section 7.0 in this policy.)
Humana will not pay for or reimburse Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates for any portion of the cost of their self-provided internet service, with the exception of associates who live or work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota. Associates who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.
Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.
